If you're not familiar with Clickbank, other than with just being an affiliate yourself, you may question what the benefits of referring somebody to Clickbank as a vendor would be to you. After all, what do you get out of them selling a product that may even be in competition with your own? Why would you even want to give Clickbank more vendors for you to compete with? Things are hard enough as they are, aren't they? Well, the answers to why you want to do this, if you're lucky enough to find these rate gems, may surprise you.
The one thing most people have to understand is that there is no such thing as too much competition. The more people who sell similar products on the Internet, the more the Internet community as a whole
develops a recognition of these "types" of products. They begin to see each of the individual brands as being viable alternatives. For example. Let's say several companies come out with a program of how to make money selling Clickbank products using Google Adwords. If only one person came out with such a product, people might think that it was a con job. If this is so great, why is nobody else coming out with
such a great product? But with many people coming out with this same concept, even if the potential customer doesn't know which one to purchase, at least they will see it as a viable solution to making money. After all, if ALL these people are coming out with a book on how to sell Clickbank products using Google Adwords, then there must be something to it. So if this is something that has become a big thing and you know somebody who has developed such a product but isn't yet a member of Clickbank, then referring them as a new vendor may be the best thing you can do.
See, not only does Clickbank have a great affiliate program for people selling YOUR product, but they also have a pretty impressive program for people who have their own products to sell, people who YOU referred. For the first year these people are in business, you get a nice percentage of their total income. In other words, if you should happen to refer somebody who has a product that takes off like many
products have done in the past, the checks you will get alone from Clickbank can turn into quite a bundle. Refer a few people and...Well, you get the idea.
Referring somebody to Clickbank is actually very easy. If you are already a member then you have a Clickbank nickname. All you need to do is insert that nickname into the following URL:
http://nickname.reseller.hop.clickbank.net/
Replace the word "nickname" with your actual Clickbank nickname and you're done. You can then place this link on your web site, in your sig file, anywhere you can think of as long as you don't spam.
It only takes one future heavy hitter to bring you a nice residual income for a year for doing nothing more than being in the right place at the right time.
