Background checks not only help companies gain better perspective, but, they may also prove to be beneficial in dating.

She ended up going to a Web site called Intellius that performed background checks. She is now engaged to a man which she had met on another dating service online. He did not approve of handing over his social security number; however, he eventually decided to comply.
Many websites online for dating have helped millions find dates. But the current issue now a days is that the online dating services have given way to carefulness in finding a date for their applicant. The dating services provide a barrage of tools used to verify prospect daters with background checks.
The industry of dating online has become a new trend. It would be considered to be the Internets own way of evolution. This includes not only dating services but e-mail and online banking, which also come with the threat of theft of information and spam. One company already implementing checks is MySpace. This company has set up a program for sex-offender’s in which a screening process is done to protect kids in their sharing of information online. However, some dating sites have become sluggish in taking on filtering measures such as background checks. Most sites do not process their own background checks for members of the dating serve and perhaps only verification is produced if the members are considering marriage.
Pew Internet & American Life Project provided a study last year about online dating services. The studies show that thirty-one percent of adults in America know someone who has been involved with a dating service online and that almost sixty percent of users on the internet said that they take into consideration the liars who quote wrongly about the status of marriage.
